The afternoon hearing in a trial involving an assault over a barking dog at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court had to be abandoned because the registrar was not replaced after being transferred.
Judge Yvonne Murphy and all involved in the case waited for more than an hour after the lunchtime break before she adjourned hearing. She apologised to the jurors and assured them the trial would end today.
It was the second day of the trial of Ms Audrey Kerr (44), of Huband Road, Bluebell, Dublin, who has pleaded not guilty to assault causing harm to Mr Oliver De Lacy on November 6th, 1998.
