Gardaí have seized cannabis plants and made two arrests following a search this afternoon in Templeogue, Dublin.

Gardaí from the Tallaght District Drug Unit assisted by gardaí from the Garda National Drug Unit carried out a planned search of a house in Templeogue this afternoon.

Cannabis plants with an estimated street value of up to €120,000 (pending analysis) were seized and a 39-year-old female and a 49-year-old male were arrested at the scene.

The two are being detained under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at Tallaght Garda Station.
