Three men were being questioned by PSNI detectives last night in connection with the murder of missing Co Down woman Lisa Dorrian.

A police spokesman confirmed that the men, two aged 18 and one aged 23, had been taken into custody yesterday morning.

Ms Dorrian (25), from Bangor, has been missing, feared dead, since she left a party at a caravan park in Ballyhalbert in the Ards Peninsula early on February 28th last year. Her family offered a £10,000 reward and launched a website last December in a fresh attempt to find her body.

Her sister Joanne said she hoped the website - www.lisadorrian.co.uk - would bring global attention to the case.

It is believed that loyalist paramilitaries, possibly the Loyalist Volunteer Force, are to blame for her murder. Ms Dorrian's body has not been found.
