Paris - Police found a "very large" cache of weapons and explosives yesterday in a garage in the French Basque country, France Info radio reported. It said the arms were of the type used by the Basque guerrilla group ETA.
The Spanish newspaper ABC said ETA had spent 75 million pesetas on weapons in the last year despite a ceasefire announced in September.
