Paris - Several masked attackers held up an armoured truck yesterday on the south-east edge of Paris, blasting a hole in the truck with a rocket launcher and escaping with at least one sack of cash, French police said. One security guard was lightly injured in the elbow. Bank notes were sucked out and strewn across the road.

The gangsters drove a large truck across the road as the van approached, forcing it to stop, while another vehicle drove up behind. They then set fire to both vehicles.
