Gardai at Shannon and Ennis are investigating an armed raid early yesterday at the Court Hotel, Shannon, in which a safe and its contents were taken away in a vehicle. It is believed that the safe contained a considerable amount of money. Three men, one armed with a handgun, carried out the raid at 5.30 a.m. No one was injured.
