JOHANNESBURG - Leaders of South Africa's National Party risked prosecution in Nuremberg style trials if they persisted in their hostile attitude to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC), Justice Minister Mr Dullah Omar has warned, writes Patrick Laurence. His warning is the latest salvo in the war of words between the National Party - which ruled South Africa for 48 years - and the African National Congress over the TRC.
The parliamentary debate is a sequel to the National Party's anger at what it regards as the unfair treatment of its leader, former president F.W. de Klerk, at a TRC hearing last month.
