A man was shot in an apparent attempted robbery at his home in Lisburn, Co Antrim, last night. Several men entered his house on the Groganstown (Road, near Divis Mountain, around 7.30 p.m. It is not known whether the victim was a lone at the time. A struggle ensued and he was shot in the legs but not seriously wounded. He was taken to hospital where he was last night recovering from his injuries.
