Angola has authorised a Chinese ship carrying arms that were destined for Zimbabwe to off-load goods, Angola's state-run news agency ANGOP said today.
But the agency said it learned from a government note that the "warlike material" bound for Zimbabwe was not authorised and "shall not be unloaded in the national territory".
The government said the vessel would only be allowed to deliver goods intended for Angola
China said the ship would head home.
