Global diversified miner Anglo American posted a 43 per cent leap in first-half net profit today as Asia's hunger for copper, coal and other raw materials continued.
Anglo American, the world's third biggest mining company, said net profit before exceptional items rose to $1.784 billion versus $1.248 billion a year ago, on an IFRS basis.
