Seven tourism angling projects in the Republic are to benefit from an investment of £550,000. The projects, which will receive funding under the Tourism Operational Programme, are located in Dublin, Longford, Waterford-Wexford, Mayo, Kildare, Kilkenny, and Meath-Louth.
The largest single beneficiary will be South Dublin County Council, which will receive £360,000 for a project to create two "put and take lakes" in parkland at Corkagh Park, Clondalkin.
