Johannesburg - The South African Police Minister, Mr Sydney Mufamadi, flew to the troubled province of KwaZuluNatal on Thursday after the execution-style murder of five ANC members in the town of Richmond, Patrick Laurence reports.
Mr Mufamadi, who was appointed to the portfolio by President Nelson Mandela, arrived amid ANC accusations that unidentified policemen were implicated in the slaying of the five men, two of whom were successful candidates in municipal by elections in the town last weekend.
