Ronald Koeman is to stay on as coach of Ajax Amsterdam until July 2006, despite his side's elimination from the Champions League this week.
Ajax finished bottom of their group after losing 2-1 to Club Bruges on Tuesday.
The Belgian side clinched the consolation UEFA Cup place for teams finishing third.
Ajax remain top of the Dutch league.
