Dublin's air traffic controllers have agreed to shelve their unofficial industrial action ahead of talks at the Labour Relations Commission this week.
The Irish Aviation Authority had warned of possible flight delays after controllers last week refused to work overtime to fill in for sick or absent colleagues.
The controllers said the authority's air traffic control system was dependent on overtime, and more staff were urgently needed.
Talks on Thursday night failed to resolve the dispute.
During the weekend, the controllers had agreed to temporarily end their unofficial action, said a spokesman for the Impact union. "We hope the commission can help find a resolution to the staffing issues," the spokesman said.
In a statement, the Irish Aviation Authority said: "At the invitation of the Labour Relations Commission, the Irish Aviation Authority and Impact will attend a conciliation conference early next week to discuss air traffic control staffing."
Air traffic control services are operating normally, said the authority.
