Aer Lingus cabin crews have voted overwhelmingly to accept the Labour' Court recommendation to resolve the dispute over, staffing and the deployment of a Delta Airlines "flag carrier" as part of the crew on the Dublin New York route. The dispute had threatened to precipitate a major strike at the state airline this summer.
The Labour Court upheld the union argument that Aer Lingus crew levels should be maintained at 11, but also conceded the management demand for the Delta flag carrier to operate as a full member of the crew.
