An Aer Lingus plane made an emergency landing in Dublin airport this morning

An Aer Lingus plane made an emergency landing in Dublin airport this morning. The aircraft, a BAE-146, left Dublin for London Gatwick at 8 a.m. with 55 passengers and 5 crew members on board.

At 8:20 a.m. the Captain advised there was a technical problem and the aircraft was returning to Dublin.

The aircraft made a normal landing in Dublin at 9:15 a.m. All passengers have disembarked and are being re-accommodated on other flights.
