Action on port work settled

The High Court was told yesterday that an action by Jackman Construction Ltd against Iarnrod Eireann, arising from work done at Rosslare port, Co Wexford, has been settled. When the hearing opened on Tuesday, Ms Justice Macken was told that Jackman Construction, of Drury Court, Dublin, was claiming Iarnrod Eireann had failed to pay it for work done at the port from 1989 to 1992. The port authority denied the claim.
