A man who died after going for a swim in Carlingford Lough yesterday has been named as Mr Charles Quin (43), from Omeath, Co Louth. He was originally from Newry, Co Down. Mr Quinn went swimming at Greenore, with a friend at around, 11 20 a.m. A short time later he disappeared from view and the alarm was raised. His body was located within an hour.
