Dutch bank ABN AMRO plans to offer €6.3 billion in cash for the shares in Banca Antonveneta it does not yet own.

Dutch bank ABN AMRO plans to offer €6.3 billion in cash for the shares in Banca Antonveneta it does not yet own.

ABN AMRO, which already has about 13 per cent of Antonveneta, said in a statement today it will offer €25 per outstanding share and will issue 135 million shares to help fund the acquisition of the Italian bank.
