A SECOND branch of the Irish National Teachers Organisation has voted against the Government's offer on pay and conditions. Members of the Craobh Chualann branch, which represents teachers in south Dublin and north Wicklow, voted last night against the £70 million package under the Programme for Competitiveness and Work.
On Monday night, the INTO's largest branch, Dublin north, voted by two to one to reject the Government's offer. However, the offer has been accepted in ballots held in a number of branches.
