Chamonix - Nine people were confirmed dead following Wednesday's disaster in the Mont Blanc tunnel through the Alps in which a truck caught fire.
The fire aboard the truck, carrying flour and margarine, caused a massive conflagration in the middle of the tunnel.
The fire was still burning yesterday despite 30 hours of efforts by firemen
