Limerick is to get 70 new jobs, the Minister for Health announced yesterday. They will be located in Plassey, where one of the world's leading computer companies, Bay Networks Inc, is setting up an office.
The company, with IDA support, is to invest £6 million in the venture. "Limerick was specially chosen because of the proximity of the university and Shannon, and the availability of a suitable temporary building," Mr Noonan said.
