Tobacco company Gallaher Ltd says 58 writs have been served on it from people in the Republic seeking damages for lung cancer and other diseases.
This morning, the company will release about half-a-million documents which it says are "litigation-sensitive" on the Internet. It says by releasing the documents it hopes to show it has nothing to hide.
