Beijing - Forty two people have died and six are missing after a gas explosion in a coal mine in northern China last week, an official investigating the blast said yesterday. The explosion rocked the privately-owned Tianlong mine in Hejin city, Shanxi province on December 3rd, said the official, who declined to be identified.
