€400,000 worth of cocaine seized in two finds

Two men are in custody today after separate drugs hauls last night netted cocaine with an estimated value of €400,000.

A German resident was arrested after three kilogrammes of cocaine valued at €300,000 were found concealed in his clothing by customs officials at Dublin Airport.

The man (40) is being held at Santry Garda Station after arriving on a flight from Amsterdam.

Another man is in custody today after a search of a house by Carlow police found cocaine with an estimated value of €100,000.

The man in his early 20s was arrested at around 10.30 p.m. at a house in Dereen Heightsand is being held under the Drug Trafficking Act at Carlow Garda Station.
