£3m school is planned for Trim

THE Taoiseach has announced plans for a new community school in Trim, Co Meath, costing about £3 million.

THE Taoiseach has announced plans for a new community school in Trim, Co Meath, costing about £3 million.

The school will be located on the site occupied by St Michael's Diocesan School. Part of the existing boys' school may have to be knocked down, but an effort will be made to preserve existing buildings where possible, a spokeswoman at the Department of the Taoiseach said. A design team will be appointed shortly.
