£33,000 car fines for 10-year-old

Stockholm - A 10-year-old Swedish girl has run up 286 parking fines worth more than £33,000 over the past nine months - almost a ticket a day - according to official records in Stockholm. However, spokesman Mr Tapio Tuomainen said young offenders were not suspected of the offences as parents were exploiting a loophole in the rules by registering cars in their children's names.
