Gardai discovered 30 kilogrammes of cannabis in an abandoned van in a carpark in Ratoath, Co Meath.
Gardai from Ashbourne were on duty in the village of Rathoath, Co Meath yesterday evening when they saw two vans in a car park.
The Gardai decided to check the vans and when they attempted to do so one van was driven away while the second was abandoned by the driver who managed to escape.
On searching the van the gardai discovered 30 kilogrammes of cannabis hidden in the back of the van. No arrests were made and investigations are continuing.
