Tokyo - Twenty-five people have died due to blood clots after arriving on long-distance flights at Tokyo's Narita airport over the past eight years, according to a study by a clinic at the airport. It said 100 to 150 passengers arriving in Tokyo are treated each year for blood clots, a problem dubbed "economy class syndrome" and believed caused by immobility and cramped seating on long flights.
