Private non-residential parking spaces in Dublin city are provided at over 330 different sites

Private non-residential parking spaces in Dublin city are provided at over 330 different sites. The majority of sites have small numbers of spaces, but 11 provide more than 300 spaces in each.

One of these sites is owned by Dublin Corporation, which has 325 spaces at its headquarters, the Civic Offices on Wood Quay.

The total number of spaces provided by employers in the capital is 24,200, with 3,376 of them owned or leased by State departments for their staff.

The level of private/non-residential parking in other cities in the State is much lower.

In Cork city, for example, 1,100 spaces fall into this category. No figures were available for the cumulative number of such spaces in Galway or Limerick cities.
