JAKARTA - A landslide in Indonesia's industrial island of Batam, south of Singapore, killed at least 17 people while 25 remained missing, a report said here on Thursday.
The evening daily, Suara Pembaruan, reporting from the disaster site, said that 17 people had been found dead, while a joint military and civilian team was searching for 25 local residents reported missing.
