Helsinki - One hundred million people will suffer from Alzheimer's disease by the year 2000, an international conference on the ailment was told yesterday. With a rapidly ageing world population, the number of sufferers will hit 100 million in 2000 and rise to 120 million in 2010 and 160 million by 2030, the conference was told.
