Luminair Tree Tent
Made in the UK, Tree Tents are lightweight, with ash and aluminium frames and covered in treated 100 per cent cotton canvas. With a Zepplinesque structure, the tent are about three metres in diameter, which means comfortable snoozing for two adults or maybe a half dozen kids. You can actually get a wood-burning stove in there too, one which is safely insulated, and the canvas is fire-proofed. £8,000 ex VAT, see luminair.co.uk for details

Sony SmartWatch 3
It may be the SmartWatch 3, but in fact, it's the first from Sony to work with Android Wear rather than its own less than amazing wearable software. It comes with 4GB of storage, 512MB RAM, built-in GPS, wifi and wearable tech such as an accelerometer and gyroscope. This is all analysed and shared through your paired Android smartphone. It's a toughie too, with a very decent battery life. Some may find the styling a little chunky. Of course with the Apple Watch coming soon, the wrist will change for everyone. €240 from expansys.ie
