Scrumptious leather bow ties

When Kildare craftsman Garvan de Bruir was invited to a black-tie event, he couldn’t find a dickie bow at home, so, being the practical person he is, he made one for himself – in leather – in his workshop. The bow tie was such a success that he is now making and selling them in brown and black leather, as well as suede. The bow ties, stylishly packaged on cardboard, come with a Sam Browne brass stud and cost €80 each. Watch a video of them being made on his website garvandebruir.com. This talented designer also makes soft, supple leather scarves and all sorts of handsome leather accessories, all available from his site. His soft leather ties in tan look cool with black shirts.
