Jaguar’s Project 7 roadster flies out the door

All 65 vehicles allocated for the UK sold out despite six-figure price tag

Jaguar has already sold out its UK allocation of the striking F-Type Project 7 roadster. The car, which started life as a single-seat concept, will be limited to just 250 vehicles worldwide, and the 65 earmarked for the British market have already all been snapped up, in spite of a price tag of £135,000. Project 7 features a 567hp version of Jaguar's 5.0-litre supercharged V8 engine, has no roof and can lap the Nurburgring "quite a bit quicker" than the standard F-Type R V8 Coupé, according to Jag's Special Vehicle Operations executive Harry Metcalfe.
