SalesResults: Lisney fetched a strong price of €5.7 million at auction yesterday for Bessboro, a Victorian house at 51 Terenure Road West in Dublin 6W. The property is likely to be redeveloped for housing.

However, this was a highlight in a week that's seen a high level of withdrawals in the auction rooms - of the 78 properties auctioned over the last seven days, 48 were withdrawn, representing 61 per cent.

One notable withdrawal yesterday was also a Lisney property, Lios an Uisce, a large Georgian house on 1.1 acres adjoining Blackrock Park which failed to find a buyer yesterday.
