LISNEY is to seek tenants for two city centre office blocks which have been acquired by developer Brian Rhatigan as part of an overall deal involving the sale of a large office block, No 1 Custom House Plaza, in Dublin's International Financial Services Centre, to ABN Ambro Bank.

Mr Rhatigan has acquired the two buildings, a 23,000-square-foot modern block at 121/122 Stephen's Green, and a 13,500-square-foot building at 1 College Green, Dublin 2, which are to be vacated by the bank and Riada Stockbrokers. A rent of £16 per square foot is being sought for both buildings, which will be sold once they have been re-let.

The 44,000-square-foot Custom House Plaza building to be completed for ABN Ambro will be finished next spring and will be valued around £18 million. Peter Stapleton of letting agents Lisney is now in discussions with several licensed traders to let the remaining 85,000 square feet in the Custom House Plaza scheme. The final stage of the scheme will incorporate 56,000 square feet of space. Rents will be not less than £25 per square foot, according to the agents.
