Co Wexford: from €410,000The final phase of a scheme of 58 houses in the seaside village of Duncannon, Co Wexford, launches on March 25th with completions in time for the summer season.
New Ross agency PN O'Gorman will be taking bookings for six 130sq m (1,400sq ft) four-bedroom detached houses at South Beach, with prices starting at €410,000. The remaining eight will be sold the following weekend.
These houses are in the best spot on the elevated South Beach site, with good sea views. Designed in traditional style to blend in with existing architecture, the houses overlook Duncannon's Blue Flag beach and could be a good summer letting opportunity, with rents averaging €600 per week in high season.
Ground floors include a sittingroom with open fireplace, bedroom/study and large kitchen/diningroom at the back, opening to a private back garden. Modern kitchen units are cream gloss and there is a separate utility and a downstairs toilet.
Upstairs, there are three double bedrooms, with an en suite shower off the largest room, and a family bathroom with separate shower.
Bedrooms are floored in red deal, ready for sanding and polishing. The main bedroom includes fitted wardrobes. Back and front gardens will come levelled and seeded, and there is space in the front driveway for two cars. James Ryan Developments has a long track record in construction in the south Wexford and Waterford areas. The builder will be on hand to carry out any upgrading required by owners, says Philip Carton of PN O'Gorman.
