Bill Nowlan has been appointed vice-president of the European Society of Chartered Surveyors. He is the first Irishman to fill a top position in the society, which represents 15 national associations of chartered surveyors in Europe. Mr Nowlan is a practising chartered surveyor and management consultant and is a former president of the Society of Chartered Surveyors.
