The owner architect who designed the renovation and extension of this riverside house says “it’s a very romantic place to live – just 800 yards from Waterford’s city centre”.

Newtown is a Waterford neighbourhood of mostly Victorian period houses. But Oakdene, built in 1963 and refurbished extensively in 2004 is modern: all the internal doors and doorframes inside the house were replaced, for example.
