Three of the best . . . golden hour lighting

Dust (086-397 6053, dust.ie) is a pop-up interiors shop opening in number 30 Lennox Street on October 4th with many interesting brands. This King Edison light, 15cm by 21cm, by Mineheart, wraps baroque beauty in a hand-blown glass shade. It comes in two finishes, gold or satin chrome. It costs €699. The shop will run until Monday, October 27th.

Camouflage is a laser-cut white steel pendant, 80cm in diameter, that casts camouflage-style shadows onto surrounding surfaces. The shadows look like clouds and can be completely absorbing. Made in Sweden it costs €3,000 from UK-based Darwin’s Home (0044-1784605604 darwinshome.com).

The Konkylie pendant, 38cm in diameter, is one of a pair of lights made in the 1960s by Louis Weisdorf. The shell is made of gold anodized metal strips, with the inner in orange and yellow. With an estimate of €1,000-€1,500 for the pair, they’re up for auction at DeVeres (01-6768300 deveres.ie) next Tuesday.
