Ranelagh: €1.9mNumber 13 Park Drive in Ranelagh is a pretty cottage-style four-bedroom house that didn't sell at auction recently and is now asking €1.9 million through Sherry FitzGerald.

Park Drive, off Albany Road, is a quiet street where plenty of the houses have off-street parking, making it less congested than many of the neighbouring roads. Malahide: €1.7m

Grimes Real Estate Alliance has put an AMV of €1.7 million on a four-bedroom detached house at Grove Road in Malahide in north Co Dublin ahead of its auction on July 4th. Called Knockacarra, it's a modest two-storey house with 167sq m (1,800sq ft) of living space and potential to extend into the west-facing back garden. The house is set well back from the road, allowing for a long driveway and off-street parking in front as well as a detached garage. There are two reception rooms, a study and conservatory downstairs, while upstairs, two of the bedrooms lead to their own balconies.

Greystones: €1.3m

Hassett has put an AMV of €1.3 million on a pretty period house on 0.6 acres at Church Road in the heart of Greystones, Co Wicklow. Due for auction on June 27th, Marian House has lots of appeal as a family home though, given its central location, it may also be viewed as having development potential. The five-bedroom house, dating from the late 19th century, has around 148sq m (1,600sq ft) of living space, though new owners may decide to give up a bedroom or two in favour of an additional bathroom or two. The well kept grounds include plenty of parking space.

Enniskerry: €2.35m

Want to be alone? In that case, a modern ranch-style house on four acres of land surrounded by woods near Enniskerry in Co Wicklow might fit the bill. Joint agents HJ Byrne and Savills HOK are asking €2.35 million by private treaty for Annacrivey Woods, a 297sq m (3,200sq ft) house that's 3kms from the village. It has lovely views over the Powerscourt estate towards the Sugar Loaf. The house dates from 1977 and has a big open-plan layout with a 33ft livingroom and separate large diningroom opening into a large conservatory. There are three relatively small bedrooms and a superb L-shaped library.
