A world record was set for Gerard Dillon, with The Dreamer achieving £378,000 (€413,815) against a reserve of £100,000-£150,000. Gerard Dillon, Tory Island, £44,100 (£18,000-£25,000). Two John Butler Yeats sketchbooks, £13,860 (£2,000-£3,000); Harry Clarke, The Playboy of the Western World, £27,720 (£6,000-£8,000); Sir John Lavery, Tea at Palm Springs, £69,300 (£40,000-£60,000). Louis le Brocquy's Travelling Woman with Newspaper, and John Lavery's Lady Evelyn Farquhar sold post-sale for undisclosed sums. Sotheby's does not publish post-sale results, and listed results include premiums.
