Auction of art and antiques from Mount Kennedy house, Co Wicklow (estate of the late Francis Cecil Quinn, Ireland's Honorary Consul-General in Nigeria): a painting, Venus and Cupid in a Wooded Landscape by Henry Tresham, £46,850 (£20,000-£30,000); an Irish Georgian mahogany side table, £30,000 (£30,000-£50,000); and, an Irish 19th century ormolu hexagonal hall lantern £9,375 (£7,000-£10,000.
