Maynooth: €2.5m:A Georgian country house within easy commuting distance of Dublin is set to make over €2.5 million at auction through Coonan Real Estate Alliance on May 29th.

Toolestown House, located less than a mile from Maynooth on the Straffan Road, is an elegant three-storey house set in its own grounds of six acres with plenty of space for ponies and a couple of loose boxes.

Built in the 1760s on land originally owned by the Dukes of Leinster, the house was originally home to the Chamberlain family who were brewers in Maynooth. It has been lived in by the same family for around 40 years and is now in need of some updating.
