A new exhibition called Flix at the Rubicon in Dublin should make buying art for your home a lot easier.
That's if you like contemporary art - there are few pretty landscapes here.
Specially-built cabinets have drawers holding everything you want to know about a particular artist (portfolios of the work, photographs and biographies) that you flick through at your leisure.
Most of the artists are younger names who haven't entered the commercial gallery system just yet.
Best of all, the work is all fairly affordable (from €200 to €1,200) and is priced clearly and uniformly to take away some of the cloak and dagger stuff that makes buying art intimidating.
It sounds like a simple thing but Rubicon plans to introduce comfortable seating so you can take your time and work through the cabinets of some of the two-dozen or so artists taking part.
