IRISH Nationwide has paid a premium of around £400,000 for the leasehold interest in the Burgerland fast food outlet in Patrick Street, Cork. Collier Jackson Stops handled the assignment of the lease under which the building society will be paying a rent of £107,000 until the next review in 1999. The premises are owned by Dublin based bookie Joe Donnelly.
