The former headquarters building of The Irish Press group of newspapers at Burgh Quay, Dublin 2, is expected to make between £1.25 million and £1.5 million when it is sold by tender on June 26th. Lisney is handling the sale on behalf of Mr Tom Grace, liquidator of Irish Press Newspapers.
The 45,000-square-foot building dates from the 1970s and while it is in need of considerable refurbishment, developers will be able to claim tax breaks on such expenditure because the building is located in an urban renewal area. The tax incentives are due to run out in August, 1997.
