TODAY The sixth annual Trinity Tia Maria Fashion Show takes place in the college today and tomorrow, under the banner "Fashion is ". Irish designers including John Rocha, Lainey Keogh, Philip Tracy and Joanne Hynes are taking part in the event, with proceeds going to the Simon Community. TOMORROW Ireland's star artists are going, going, gone this week at Whyte's upcoming auction. On offer are over 200 paintings, with prices from €500 to €150,000, by artists such as Tony O'Malley (Above: Morning, Janie & Karen & Strombie & Ziggy & self-portrait, scene in the Bahamas, oil on paper, estimate €10,000-€15,00). MONDAY "Signatures Withheld" is a clever idea from Northern Ireland Group for Art as Therapy, whose fundraising exhibition runs in the Waterfront Hall, Belfast from today until December 17th. The work is by artists and public figures across Northern Ireland, but have been signed on the back rather than the front, so you only find out who created the work when you purchase it. TUESDAY Dublin Youth Theatre's Christmas Magic Show, by Sarah Fitzgibbon, is a stage production suitable for eight to 80-year-olds. It previews tonight, opens tomorrow and runs until Saturday, December 4th at the Project Cube, Temple Bar, Dublin. Tickets €10/12 and €8 for children between 8 and 12 years. www.project.ie.

WEDNESDAY The Boydell Singers of Trinity College, Dublin are the university's first all-female choir and their first concert of the season will be held tonight in the college chapel. Expect folk songs and traditional music, from 8 p.m.

THURSDAY Fanning the flames of debate tonight at the political cabaret, Leviathan, will be journalist and author Nell McCafferty, law professor Ivana Bacik, former Irish Catholic editor David Quinn and TV producer Cilian Fennell.
