Today: You're never too old to learn is the message of Cork's Lifelong Learning Festival. A variety of free events from beauty makeovers to wheelchair sports are taking place all over the city, with learning opportunities for everyone, whatever their age, ability or background. Tuesday: The brightest young talent of the trad scene can be found in Monaghan's Market House tonight. Whistler Gavin Whelan, fiddler Zoe Conway, concertina player Aogán Lynch and guitarist Donncha Moynihan are wowing crowds at the Best of Irish Trad tour. Wednesday: Members of the biggest, newest EU State are trying to help us all learn a little more about Polish culture with a series of lectures in the Central Library, ILAC Centre, Dublin.
